When I close my doors, the back verticle edge hits the verticle post and is playing havoc on my new paint job. Obviously the doors need to be moved forward, but I don't have a clue as to how to do that. What would be the best way to correct this problem?

Thanks for any help

Loosen the bolts from hinge to pillar (not the bolts into the door) and slowly adjust the door forward.. Keep an eye on your fender edge as well.. You may have to realign the fender.. If your body shop aligned the panels take it back and show them the rub and ask them to realign..

If you going to try to re-align the door.Mask of the area around the door ,rocker ,fender and 1/4 panel area to minimize the op's . but as Normi states if the body shop aligned it, I would go their fist.

Remember one thing this is a two man operation unless you have a door hoist, also remove the striker and like said you will have to loosen front fender at bottom.

Good luck.
