The little brads sticking up for my lower rear window molding clips went away when I cut the rusted panel out. I'm looking for ideas on how to replace them or an alternative for holding the clips in place.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I believe there is a screw that is made like a stud for those clips. Napa or a body shop place should have them. I think I have even got some thru GM before.

A company called AU-VE-CO [spelling?] sells them by the box. I got my hands on some from a friend. The little studs have a small phillips head on the top of the "rivet" and the bottom is threaded with some type of sealer on it to prevent rust. If you can't find them let me know and I'll see what I can dig up in my travels.

It turned out to be a non-issue anyway. The glass tech came by today and installed a new windshield and my old rear window. He installed the molding clips across the bottom with pop rivets and the job looks good.
Thanks anyway guys.
