I have quite a few dings and scratches on my car that I would like to fix. The car is a basecoat clearcoat, but I have no idea as to the actual color.
Does anyone know of a place in the Bay area that would be helpful in figuring out the color?

If the paint has metallics in it, can the computer color matchers pick that up?

PPG stores have a machine called the Prophet that works like a bar code scanner, should be able to match it for you. I have had excellent results with one.
