I have a Crane Hi6 ignition box (came with the car, not my choice) which basically provides me a rpm limiter on top end. Is there a way to add a two step to this box so that I can have a start line rpm with the tranny brake ?

Or am I better off to go with a MSD two step box and if so which one ?

Talked to the Crane tech dept and they said they have no two step box but to go ahead and use an MSD two step module or equivalent with the HI-6 Crane ignition box.

How do we go about deciding on a rpm chip for the launch rpm ? Yea I know probably a bit of trial and error here, but where to start.

Did they say how to do that? If I'm not mistaken, the MSD two step and three step, plug into the MSD ingnition box where the chip normally is..... How do you plug it into the Crane? I have a Hi-6 also so I am curious as well.

I have not had time to look into the wiring yet.

Looking at Cranes website, the HI-6 uses a rotary dial to adjust the rev limiter and doesnt use chips. no chips, no msd two step.
