Hey guys,
Time to put that sweet SS bumper pad back on my '70. Now I gotta procure one. How do the repops vary in quality? What supplier to go with? How to glue that thing on there so it stays put?
Thanks!

Get it from our sponsor, Ground Up.
The one from Ground Up is pre curved to fit the shape of your bumper. It does not include the glue but just use the Black 3M Super Adhesive. Ask about the glue when you order it and Ken might throw it in for free.
I got one 2 years ago from another supplier and it was not pre-curved and it came loose, twice, so I got the precurved one from GU and it has stayed on with no problem.
Good Luck,

Thanks Bill!
What kind of surface prep did you do to make sure it sticks? Kinda freaked to scuff my big-$ bumper.

The glue used to install pad is special stuff and has a shelf life of only a few weeks ask Ground Up about it or , I believe Ausley's Chevelle Parts has it

Tony, ACES1 wrote an article on how to install the bumper pad in one of the Chevelle World issues.
Maybe some one knows which onoe and can scan it for you.
