Wondering if anyone has repainted the silver, gray or chrome on their tail lights? Mine are completely faded and I need to know what color Testors enamel paint is closest to original. They've got gray, silver and chrome. Anybody know?

I posted it in Restoration also and got a response that it should be silver. Picked it up at WalMart tonight after work. The paint pen will work nice for the raised edges but should be fun trying to tape off the inside bottom of the lens! Wish me luck.

It was testor's silver? Spray can? Sorry to sound ignorant but what's a paint pen also?

Yes, Testors makes silver in a 3 oz. aerosol can and they also make paint pens with felt tips that can be cut to desired widths depending on your application. Should work nice for raised edges on the base of the lens. Look at the NOS 70 lenses for sale on ebay for a better idea. item # 2404742268
