Has any one any input as to the quality of these products, any particular problems with gluing panels? good, bad?
Anyone use this brand?
Thanks T.C.

I have had great success bonding panels, do it almost every day. I have never used Duramax but have used 3M, Fuser, and SEM. It is a super way to attach a panel or door skin.

Do you mean Duramix?I have used it. Its good. The only thing i have noticed is that you will see a seam a few months later if you use it in a place that isnt hidden.

Thanks 70isfine:
Sorry I must have been thinking exhaust?
acually I was going to use it for the wheel well opening and the lower rear of the quarter, behind the wheel.
The places you cant get to after the pannel is on to seal and rust proof.
I am installing quarter skins and will probably weld the rest using a flange tool and lap joint.
Although the thought has crossed my mind to glue and screw it togeather, still using the flange and lap joint?
thanks T.C.

Thats how I use it.Glue the wheelhouse opening But I would weld the long seam across the top.I glued half quarters on once before, and after it was painted and all finished you could see a line right where the seam was.

Any advice on how to clamp the panel in place while the adhesive sets up? Kinda hate to drill holes and rivet it to hold it.

I either use the big c clamp vise grips or drill holes and use screws then weld up the holes when im done.In the wheelhouse you should be able to use vise grips.
