Has anyone had expierence on the aftermarket
quarters from goodmark manufacturing? The
Paddock, OPG and many others carry these.
The 2 caminos I've seen looked O.K. but the
main thing I saw is how the lip on the wheel
opening is not flat like the original. Does
anyone know where I might find GM quarters and not give up my first born for them?
Thanks, Brent

I used a right side rear from NPD. It was not the same configuation as a stock one but I was able to make it work and it looks fine to me. The panel didn't go up to the rooftop as a stock one and the top along the bed did not have a flange like stock. I didn't need to go to the roof anyway and I made the fit along the bed cutting the old panel about 1/4" from the flange and then I bent that part down slightly and lapped the top of the new panel over it. After tack welding it in place I used urethane seam sealer to keep water out.
The biggest issue of fit for me was the front of the quarter was short and when fitting the door on I found I had way too much gap and had to use more filler than I would have liked(about 1/4") on the inside of the jamb to make it look right.
Look at the area of the quarter near the door handle and you can see where I added filler. You can see it came out ok though.

Thanks for the pictures and the info,
What or how did you bend the lip of the
new quarter panel in the wheel molding
flat to match the original look. I need to
have the lip that points into the fender well
flat so I can put my wheel opening trim on.
Thanks,
Brent

I'm not sure I understand what you're talking about on the fender well, but I had no problems with the fit there.
