I was just wondering I am doing my own body work, but the rear quarters need to be replaced. I was wondering if a bodyshop would weld them on for me with out wanting to paint them. and how much would tis cost.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm having this done on my 67 (hopefully soon). A few months ago, I stopped by a body/paint place that obviously did 100% insurance work and they wouldn't do it. Then I stopped by a little shop on my way home from work that had a couple of old cars sitting around. I didn't have the Chevelle with me but the guy estimated $350 for the one side. I'm hoping I can get it done a little cheaper when I bring everything in.

WOW 350 for a side. I ASSUME that's for a full GM type panels? as a after market requires much more welding and $$$ to install
Locally its about 500 to weld finish one side 1/4 Which .At 350 sound like a good deal to Me ???

It's only a "good deal" if they do a good job. If they do a bad job on this very critical job.......it wouldn't be worth it if they payed YOU the lousy $350. Don't price hunt, shop hunt.
