I have a pair of AFR 190 heads, that needed to be resurfaced. Previous owner let engine sit for over a year without anti freeze. They cleaned up @ .012". Shop said ... that amount would not cause any problems. I'd feel better knowning that others agree. Should I be concerned with intake gasket(s) not sealing properly, due to the now "missing" .012". Using Air-Gap w/ ROL gaskets. Thanks

You don't have to be concerned .012 is not enough to effect the gasket seal.

Break out your feeler guages and look at .012 ... It will be fine for a gasket.
