I see there is a posting on some 186 casting heads(not me),but my question to you would be:What engine combo(s) would you use with these? And what numbers (approx) would I expect? I would like to build something w/ these and in the future(as soon as funds permit) upgrade to some aftermarket aluminum heads. The castings I have 2.02/1.60 and if I am not mistaken a 64cc chamber. Thanks for your time.
P.S. That "Phantom machine shop" has nothing on you!! LOL

LOL, thanks but we still be learnin,,,, ain't got the "science" deal figured out yet :D
Good old head for it's day & if you have them & they are in good condition & the valves haven't been sunk 3 feet or so,, still a pretty fair one capable of decent power without a ton of work.
I would say it would be fairly easy to make 375+ honest HP with them & they are capable of quite a bit more in good hands but as posted I would be careful of what you spend as for $600-$700 you can have brand new SR type heads with excellent parts that already have the screw-in studs, hard seats etc,,,
You can buy them for less, just be sure of what you are getting,,,
