I have no ties at all to this, just stumbled onto it on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1971-Chevy-chevelle_W0QQitemZ4596800351QQcategoryZ6164QQrdZ1Q QcmdZViewItem

Looks like the sale of it will be a benefit to the loss of a home. What a terrible time of year to loose your home to fire. Too bad "Team Chevelle" couldnt all pool together to buy it and fix it up.

You know, you can't replace a house with the money this car is going to bring, but it will certainly help a family have a slightly better christmas. Or at least start getting their life back on track.

I do feel sorry for the people that lost their house, hope they had good insurance.
We had a family lose part of their house to fire. The second oldest daughter lit a candle and left it on top of a book. The insurance company put them in a hotel for six months, while the house was redone.

If that car was closer, I would by it, as long as the price stayed reasonable.

It almost looks like a 70 with that front end, till you look at the taillights.

$1,025 and no reserve. That much in parts you would think...
