I am in the process of building a body rotisserie for the '70 and I am in need of a particular measurement. I can't seem to find, in any of my literature, the distance between the front two body bolts, from passenger side to drivers' side. I tried to measure it with a tape, but I don't think I can be accurate enough. Does anyone have a drawing of the frame that lists the distance between the centerlines of those two bolts??? Thanks in advance.

The law of inanimate reproduction: If you take something apart and put it back together enough times, you will eventually have enough parts to make two.

Dave....In the 1970 Chassis Service Manual (Frame Section, page 2-3), the dimension is shown as 26 3/16" from the longitudinal centerline to the front body mount hole. Since the holes are symmetrical about the centerline, the total between the front body mount holes is 52 3/8".

My brother in-law has a turntable he has used in the past for his '55. He does not use it anymore and may be willing to part with it.
