Try VFN Fiberglass. They made one for a 69 Motion Chevelle that we restored in 1999. Quality was excellent top and bottom. Not sure on the price, but probally in the $400-$500 price range.

I think I am looking for the same hood, and i have had no luck also. The one i want is a baldwin motion hood that looks like a hood on the 60's corvette's.There was one for sale on ebay a few months ago and it went for over 750.00 and i did'nt have the money to pay for it at the time, but it is to me the nicest hood on a chevelle.any help would be very much appreciated.

thanks

Can't help you with the hood deal but wanted to say your Monte looks nice. Also if you drop the [url= off the front in you sig, it should be a clickable link.

Hi. Thanks for stopping by.
Currently we do not have a mold for one, but we can custom make this hood for you. A stinger hood in a pin on version would cost $525.00 and for a bolt on version it would cost $625.00. Currently I do not have any pictures of this hood, but if you check out the 68-7 Nova page, we do have a picture available of the stinger hood for this car - just to give a basic idea on what we can do.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to either email us at www.info@vfnfiberglass.com (http://www.info@vfnfiberglass.com) or if you prefer, you can call us at the shop, Monday thru Friday, 8am to 4pm CT at 630-53-0233. Thanks again for stopping by and have a great day. Jean

thanks guy's for all your help

another option would be if some one produced the stinger scoop with an inside flange. then perhaps you could use a stock hood and attach it and the bolts/rivets would not show. mike

I was looking a vfn's web site and under the picture of the nova stinger hood it said if you want a show quality hood to contact reply@copo.com in care of ed.There web site is copo.com.Ed sent me a email and said they have them for chevelle also and it is 644.00 plus shipping, but it takes about 6 weeks.I just wander how much better the quality is between vfn and copo.com?

The VFN stinger hood is the best quality I've seen. Finish and fit was excellent. Installed one on the only Burnished Brown 69 Phase III 396-375HP Motion Chevelle ever built. Ertl just released a model of that car. Buy from VFN you'll be very happy with the hood.

My guess is COPO is selling hoods made by some other manufacturer, and quite possibly be VFN. But I don't know this as fact.
