Diehard restoration buffs ignore this post. But for you hotroders out there give me a hand. Looking to replace my crapped out rear view mirror with a newer style one with maplight and autodim etc. I have a 72 which has the post mount (not glue mounted to windshield) Any oem mirror I can find in the boneyard that will easily mount to the post I have (I Don't wanna glue it to windshield)? Also, side view mirrors, I have the bullet mirrors and want them POWER! any ideas on what would be a good replacement? I like the bullet mirror look though, how about pulling the guts out of a power set and putting it in the 70's style bullets? Any Ideas? Thanks!

My GF has a 95 Grand Prix that would look nice.. It has 2 maplights. I'm sure you could figure a way to mount it.

OK, don't hurt me, but JC Whitney has one with a compass and autodim for 248 bucks. Also without the compass and thermometer for 89. Mercury must be pricey.
Says 95 and earlier Ford Vehicles need the installation kit, whatever that means.
Of course you are like the rest of us and want to find a bolt on in the junkyard, so try Lincolns, Caddys, and anything with Gold trim http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
