i am doing a 70 with 71 paint code and ppg say the can only make it in omni or delstar ,and i got 2 different paint #s for same code 71 from 2 different supplyers one was 32604 in mbc omni and the other is 3077 in dbc the color is shadow gray,has anybody run into this, i have to do base/clear and i dont want to put omni on a LS6 car ,mabe dupont makes it not sure,anybody spray this color???

I am sure you can adjust the single stage formula to a base, we do it all the time at our shop.

code 17 not 71 is 32604 shadow gray

Dupont dosen't show any code 71 for chevrolet in 1970 on there color charts. There is a code 71 in 1969, corvette color LeMans Blue.

Have the paint supplier call the PPG color lab.
We have done that in the past and often they will formulate a BC/CC
formula for you.
