I'm converting my 72 from column shift to auto shift console on floor. My nuetral switch is currently on my steering column. The wiring harness I have for the console is from factory fit and it has three connectors that appear to hook to the neutral switch located on the floor shifter. Can someone help me out as to which way to do? Here are my plans for the car.

1. Install auto floor shifter and console using old steering column.
2. Install bucket seats (originally bench)

At this point I was hoping to be able to drive.

3. Replace dash, guages, wiring harness, steering column.

After step three do I need to do anything different with the nuetral switch? Does the old switch hook to the new Tilt steering column or do I have to put on on the floor shifter?
