If it's legit hard to say since the gm sticker is " taped on". If Anybody has the master parts book and cares to look this one up and let us know, I am willing to bet it belongs to a Goat. I had to share since there has been a bunch of debate about the shifter hump for our cars around here lately. Somebody help put this baby to bed if you can. TIA Jason.

Our '72 Lemans has a similar hump that is screwed down to the side of the tunnel like the 1967 and earlier pieces. The hole may be oval like the boot and trim ring. I think that the earlier Pontiacs had a round boot and trim ring. It has been a couple of years since I installed the carpet. The '68 and newer Chevelle pieces were welded on.

That looks EXACTLY like what's in the floor (the original one still in) of my 65 GTO. I thought all the Chevy stuff had a bigger hole.

The argument has been that the chevelles shifter hump is exactly the same for console, nonconsole cars 3 or 4 speeds and it looks nothing like the auctions example well 64-67 anyway. The originals look a little more like the one they repop for chevelle with console, but it is still way off. I still would like someone with a master catalog to run that part number, that way we know what they based the reproduction upon, because it is definately NOT a chevelle. part # 9775129 Jason.
