I found a 2000 Z28 posi rear with discs
will this rear end work in my trans am

Can't say for sure. I haven't done much on the later F body cars. Try www.camaros.net or www.nastyz28.com These are both early Camaro sights, but someone there might know.

the 4th gen rear will bolt in a 3rd gen, BUT the housing is significantly wider requiring funny back spacing on your wheels
