ok I have been working on my car trying to repair the channel to best of my abilities, and knowledge or lack there off. and I got this far.

it is from the inside the car without the upper dash in place should I fill in the empty space cuz when I palce the dash in place and the A-piller cover in place I can't see any light though it.

Looks pretty good. I had to do the same thing for my 1970 because a bad window seal probobly 15 years ago ate all the metal away. Dont forget to put some rust preventative paint on it. Wouldnt want to have to pry it up 5 years from now.
