Are the reproduction disc brake dust shields pretty decent quality, or should I keep searching fo some NOS ones ?

I used repops, they were fine. I really had no choice because the NOS ones were in really bad shape from sitting in the junkyard.

Shop around Bill, these things have come down in price since they hit the scene.

What finish is on the original covers?

I'm guessing NOS ones will be very tough to come by, as I monitor ebay regularly and have never seen a set there. The guy that replates brake boosters in CA (Steve Gregori) will replate your originals if they're in decent shape.

The repops are just fine. Used them twice with no problems.
