I bought 2 books last week, as I intend to do the bodywork and priming on my 65 ss restoration. They are pretty good. One is called "How to paint your car" by David Jacobs, softcover book by Motorbooks International. Got it at a speed parts shop, about 20 bucks US. The other book is "automotive body repair and Painting Manual" by Haynes, of same Haynes Manual series on all types of cars.(about $15) If you were going for one of the two, I would get the first one above.

You can learn alot about body and paint by searching the tech archives here, or searching this body shop forum with keywords as "primer", etc. Good luck

Not a book but this was posted in another thread and their videos looked pretty sweet. Having my fiance get me the set for christmas, check it out www.paintucation.com (http://www.paintucation.com)
