the rear glass on my 67 was leaking at some point and the trunk pan has some pitting and a few small holes. the worst of it is in the little valleys that are in the pan. would it hurt to just use dynaglass and just fill the vallys full making a flat trunk pan? thanks Dave

No it wouldn't hurt, but it won't help either. Filler is not meantto be used to fill rust. It is meant to smooth out low spots in sheetmetal. If you just cover it with filler it will come back very quickly and you will end up with a bigger mess than you started with. If the metal is rusted clear thru then you need new metal. You can fix the pitting by blasting the area with a media blaster and then use one of the commercially available puttys intended for this purpose, I have used lab-metal before with decent results. The putty used to fill these pits will dry as hard are a rock, and will have to be ground and sanded down smooth, it is much harder than "bondo" type filler.
