ihave a 70 flat hood and love the look of it, i was woundering if i cut out the louvers and patched it so the whole hood is now smooth, will i have any problems with ventilation? and i also love the 70 challenger ralley hood i was thinking of buying one and hacking it up and weld it atop of my hood?

any opioins on that?

If you mean the louvers in the cowl those are where the fresh air for ventilation of the passenger area comes from, you need that for A/C or any time you don't want to recirculate the air already inside the car. For looks you'd have to find an alternate place for that fresh air to come in to reach the heater plenum, preferaby a place without fumes.

yea those are the louvers i meant.....the malibu flat hood, the louvers closest to the windshield
