I have never heard of anyone trying this, but was wondering if it would/could work. Would it look OK?

I have done it on a few of my rides without problems. Although you might want to get an alignment after you do it to make sure that it won't get "twitchy" on ya. It does add a little more stress on the front end components because you are changing the geometry a tad.

Hope it helps.

Make sure you carry a 15" spare tire that is the same height as your regular rear tires. Point being, you must have the same size rear tires or you will burn out your rear end, if the fronts are different it will not cause any short term problems as long as you get it fixed right away.
