I'm trying to plan a frameoff restoration. Is there a way for me to learn how to do good bodywork(school, etc) besides trying to work on my car?

If not, can anyone recommend some shops that specialize in restoration type work in the Atlanta metro area?

Any help is appreciated.

As with anything.. read read read.. If you can find a vocational school in your area that teaches auto body take the class.. if you can find a place that will allow you too watch and learn, your better off.. However, watch the shortcuts they take. and don't duplicate them... Just sent my brand new car too the body shop for some small spot welds and scratches that were never filled. Came back with sanding swells, DA marks in the paint they didn't touch, and not a good finish.. thats not the way of making good work on something new.. If you do a search on MARTINSR and JIMMYP you will get a wonderfully detailed example of real world body work. it's probably 2-3 months old so it may take some looking.. I think Al, might have put them in the tech reference section too...
