Do I need to prep my new '71 SS grill for any reason before painting it?

I know I am supposed to use satin-black, but what brand of paint should I use?

Clean it REAL good... The mole release agent used when molding the grille will cause paint issues.. Don't know what paint you should use..

Clean it with alchohol and scuff it with a gray scotch brite pad.I would use SEM satin black in a spray can.

does anyone have a picture of what the '71 grille is supposed to look like?
