Hello all,

I have a 67 138 chevelle that I purchased without the taillight extensions/housings. I recently bought a set from a private party and I'd like to verify that they will work for an SS. The donor car is unknown, but the new pieces have holes in the areas where the upper and lower trim appears to go on an SS housing. Are regular Malibu/Chevelle taillight extensions the same as those used for an SS (except for the obvious differences in Deluxe 300 versions)?

I'm pretty sure they're the same. The difference is the actual tail-light lens. The Malibu & SS lens has the 3 chrome strips through it, and 300 dx does not.
