I saw the ad on 2-guys garage. Could those that have heard them please write a review on how these sound? I prefer the "turbo" muffler sound to the "open can" sound of the flows, on the show they put one on a truck with a single 3" system and they didnt really demo the tailpipe sound. I know "the sound" is very subjective and I appreciate your opinion. Thanks

Are you talking about the Hooker Aero Chamber? I ran these on a 351W powered Mustang w/ X-pipe. Installed with the X. the system was fairly quiet. More like a very quiet Flowmaster than a Turbo muffler.

GRN69CHV,

I have a 3" single muffler exhaust with dual 2.5" pipes going straight out the back of my pickup. It produces a low throaty sound that doesn't crackle when you rap them off. I really like it.

Read the FAQ section, it sounds like a bunch of marketing hooey to me.

"The AeroTurbine uses the same basic design and technique as a jet engine."
So where's the compressor section? Where's the fuel sprayed in? What ignites it? How many moving parts? (The answer, of course, it that there is no compressor section, no fuel, no ignition, no moving parts. The main resemblence to a "jet engine" is in the AeroTurbine name.)

Didn't see the clip on this, different from what I thought. The principle may be legit. Just like an airplane wing, the air speeds up over the curved top, same principle should apply here.
