Im a 15 year chevelle fan. My father and me just recently bought a 71 chevelle malibu with a 307. I was wondering if anyone knows how to take off a vinyl top because i dont want it on the car. If u do please email me at sexmachine456@aol.com thank you.

it's a process that you may not be able to make look nice without painting the entire car. You have to take off the molding and then get rid of the glue that holds it down. After all of that you need to sand, prime, and paint. The paint may not match the original paint. Have fun.

basicly, just peel it off.
if it's an old top, it will come off hard.
