Hey Guys,
The inevitable has happened. I went to install the steering column, and can't find the darn bracket that holds the thing up to the dash.
Has anyone got one of these laying around that you don't need? I managed to fashion one out of an old front sway bar bushing bracket. It will do for the time being, but, I really would like to find the correct piece.

If anyone has this bracket from an old parts car, give me a shout..

The car is going back together graemlins/thumbsup.gif , but, it is a tedious job. I just keep looking at the shiney spot at the end of the long tunnel. graemlins/hurray.gif

Thanks for the help.

Hello MIke, I assume it's for the 66 you have pictures of in the showroom? If it is, I know I have a couple of them. You can have one of them. Email me your address, and I'll figure out what it will cost for shipping.

Hi Mike,
I shipped the bracket out today by USPS. It cost a whopping $2.67. You should see it in a about 3 days. Let me know when you receive it.

Tom,
Thanks so very much!! Next time (yea right) that I do one of these...things will be different. I WILL bag and tag everthing...find a shelf to put it on and inventory it all when I am done. And if I can just find a place to park my 747 I will have it all taken care of....LOL...

Thanks again Tom....and Happy Cruzin...

Mike, Happy to help. Funny that you mentioned bagging and tagging your parts. You'll notice that the bracket I sent you is in a bag and tagged. That is what I put it in when I stripped the parts car. It helps quite a bit. Now I've seen so many 66 parts, that I don't really need them labeled. Now if I could only remember my kids names smile.gif
