I need help. Could this be the real thing, I doubt it. The owner has no documentation, but claims it’s real. Here is the ad for the car and I will list all the info that I have below. Motor was suppose to be a dealer replacement. The date code indicates it’s a 70 model and I thought that it would be a 454, but not sure. He claims it came from Texas, it resides in NC now. He says that it was verified by COPO connection to have been built at the plant and during production run of the COPO cars. I really like the wording that he uses. He has had the car since 2003. The rear end housing is also incorrect. Whats the car worth? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys!!

Mike

I know the car is a fake! I figured that if any help could be found proving it to be so might be on this site. I had seen the listing from the Texas site , but numbers don't match up. Just need some help to get this all sorted out. I don't want to see anyone get taken by the seller.

Thanks,
Mike

No Dean it has to be a different car, and that home brewed one actually was real just a string of restos over twenty years and never really done right.
