Hi i have a 1968 chevelle malibu with a 10bolt rear and i bought a for 9in from a guy who put it in a cutlass and then took it out after it was wrecked.

now my rear end is the same width an the ford but the mounts are different. is there a kit to buy to put on in a chevy?

GM changed the rear suspension slightly from the '64-'72, '73-'77 and '78-'88 models. The rear ends from the different models won't fit in the others without modifying the brackets on the rear end housing. It doesn't matter if they are Olds, Chevy, Buick or Pontiac. The difference is in the years.
