good morning ;) My question is that I got a great deal on the gauge carrier, however its from a Malibu & my car is an SS. How do I cut the hole out for my roller tach. I was going to use an exacto knive does anyone have any better or easier suggestions and the best way to do it without ruining it ?Thanks
also i was reading a bedtime story(the red book on chevelles)lol & I never knew that 4 spds & consoles were options on these cars. Gee, a guy can learn alot if he just reads.

Was thinking there is a dimmension page in the assembly book on what distance to cut to be able fit the tach bezel.I would just go over it with a drimmel tool.Maybe go little larger if you dont have the bezel and chrome trim it so would look better.See ground up carries the big lenses, true connection is carring the tach know but up there in price.Up in Bedford, but can get you the page tonight when get home. What part of texas you in?I live down near Houston.

Its in the book U14 almost at the end.Ment make the hole smaller, larger edging around, and paint around it.Can always cut back where needed when get the bezel.Pad at the bottom real well so won't vibrate.Might use the rotary wheel and not cut so deep each time just to keep from cracking the plastic.
