Does anybody know if the barrel nuts for the ss and 396 emblems on the front fender of a 69 chevelle are 5/32 ?
Some of mine are missing and I seen that OPG sells them separate without having to buy the emblems, but they come in 3 different sizes,3/32- 5/32 and 3/16. They cost $3.95 for 15. My old ones seems to measure 4/32.
Also would anyone know the correct size length and dia and kind of thread for the bolt or screw to use to fasten the tail light bezel on a 69 chevelle? They are new from ground up and use a different screw or bolt than the originals.
Thanks for any help
Jerry

I'm not sure of the sizes, but most body shops have these. My brother-in-law works for a body shop and brought me home a handfull.

I have just drilled holes for the "SS" and the "396" emblem. The correct size is 5/32 for both. In the package with both the SS and 396 emblems came barrel nuts and the original style and instructions to drill a 5/32 hole if using the barrel nuts. If not right I have 18 holes drilled the wrong size. I do feel comfortable with the 5/32 hole. I used a very small drill bit to make a pilot hole first before drilling the 5/32 hole and it worked out pretty well. Good luck.

Thanks guys
I'll order the 5/32 ones if I can't find them local.
