I have a GM Performance Parts ZZZ crate engine that I want to upgrade a little. I'm going to have a little port work done on the heads and I want to switch to a differrent cam. Can I re-use the hydraulic roller lifters without fear
of problems? The engine doesn't have alot of miles on it and it ran fine when
I pulled it out of the other car I had it in. I'll spend the money if I need to, but
I don't want to waste money either. The new cam I want to use will a little less duration but a little more lift than the original.

As long as the rollers roll smooth and show no signs of wear, they can be used over and over again.
