I saw this a while ago, its basically an SCCA Trans-Am series inspired version thats very worth while to watch.

The race car corvette episode was awesome! Gotta love AFR heads and solid roller cams ;) Easily the most powerful car out there, but I think more of the cars speed was from the handling, when compared to the other Corvettes.

I don't think the Chevelle got a fair shake in the 0-60 test. I don't think the driver did a great job. Or maybe I'm just jealous that he got to drive all of those cool cars.

Chevelle is moving up on the charts due to great braking.

Looks like the AMC finished dead last. The Challenger T/A was third
while the Camaro and Mustang duked it out neck and neck. Overall,
more points went to the Camaro.

Sure, blame Peter, no race car driver knows how to drive an automatic :-P But really those times are comparable to almost all stock LS6 auto, 3.31 geared Chevelles I've seen. 13.8-13.9@~99, and remember his times were in hot weather.

But I found some interesting stats on that Corvette vintage race he ran in the Corvette episode. In the 3rd qualifying session, Peter qualified on pole with a lap of 2:04.855, which was the best lap of the weekend for Group 6 cars. 3.157 seconds than the next best car in the session. In the race, despite having the oil heating problem, his best lap (set on lap 1), was 1.223 seconds faster than the next best time (3rd place car). That car was one fast sucker, but Im not suprised because I think it had a little more modern technology than the other vintage cars.
