In my pursuit of the 11's :D I have noticed a slight ticking coming from a valve (or valves) but can't try to adjust it out b/c of this non-adjustable setup on this crate motor. Before I change over to rocker studs, I was wondering if it was possible (or even advisable) to use a thin washer or shim between the bolt and ball to give a little more preload.

I kinda like this net-lash system b/c you don't have to adjust valves when working on the valvetrain, but now is when it sucks!
