I'm having a heck of a time aligning the side glass of my '71 coupe (to keep out wind noise.) It has new weather-stripping and window related hardware (everything is new.)

I tried following the factory assembly manual instructions but the manual shows using 3 aligning blocks that I doubt anyone has. Is there another way to do this alignment, or where can I find these 3 blocks?

I'm a new member to chevelles.com and I want to say that this place is awesome and I will enjoy it immensely! http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Getting a good seal is a tedious, trial and error thing. First, you determine exactly where you are getting the wind noise, then you will know what adjustment to start with.

Make sure the door itself is aligned properly, hinges and striker are in good shape etc., before making any window adjustments. Proceed slowly. Don't forget...when you close one gap, you are opening one or more others. Sometimes, you have to settle for a compromise.
