is there a way to remove ign switch w/o a key and not hurt bezel and w/o locksmith? on a 68 chevelle thanks for any help

Yes, but if you have the original locks, you can also probably take your doorlock to the locksmith and have a key made. They are likely the same if the locks are original...

If not, do a search here - been covered mucho times :)

Coulda sworn I replied to this previously...

I made up a special tool using a nail to fit between the notches in the bezel. Then used this to unscrew the bezel from the ign switch. The switch comes right out the back after that.
