I got another truck TD block that went I was cleaning it showed a big crack in one of the cylinder (just one CRACK for now) ,it start about 1" down from top of cyl. and goes 4-5" down .
This block can be sleeved ? I want to build a big motor with 650hp with this block . what do you think ?

That high up in the cylinder may be a problem......sometimes cracks towards the bottom will be okay if you fill up half the block with hard-block or something similar. Some extra cooling power would be absolutely necessary...
For strip only duty it may be okay...but on the street, well........

I don't think I'd push it that hard. Sleeves due to rust pitting, wrist pin damage, etc. are, IMHO, much stronger than one in a cracked bore. Once the bore has split, it's lost it's structural integrity and can't provide the support behind the sleeve that you'd need. If it were me, I'd keep looking.

I don't think it's so much how much hp it'll make vs how much it'll flex getting there.I don't think you want your motor shifting around when you're trying to make big hp.
