is there any kind of product on the market that is a kind of window polish. I have some small surface scrathes that I would like to remove, and a good shine would be nice too!

Eastwood sells a glass polishing compound and kit. But you have to supply the buffer or a high speed drill. Be careful, it'll sling everywhere and jump out of your hands at the first opportunity.
