Has anyone used one of the repro tail lamp bezels before? I saw a pair on ebay last week (they sold for over $275). The guy selling them said the repros don't fit right and look like hell. I think all of the parts suppliers resell the same item. Thanks, David

I got a pair of them for Christmas
I can't see anything wrong about them, they look as good as originals to me.

I bought a pair of repro bezels 2 years ago. Although they were made in Taiwan, they looked as good as I expected new originals to look and fit fine. No problems.

The only problem I have seen with these are minor, we have had one set with bad chrome that was sent back, the other the paint flaked off after a year, and we just repainted them. Fit was fine, finish is better than GM's was, just put a NOS set on the COPO we are doing, talk about ruff.

I replaced mine last summer with a repro set made in Taiwan. Look good. Fit OK. There seemed to be a larger gap at the top between the bezel and the housing than with the originals. No noticeable water leakage so far and chrome is holding up well.

Glad to hear many people speak well of the reproductions, as I may be in the market in the near future. You don't think the ebay seller would badmouth the repros just to try and drive up the bid price on his NOS pair, do you?? http://www.chevelles.com/forum/rolleyes.gif
