I read all the posts on this. On my 69, it appears to me that the strip on top of the windshield is too high on pass side. This causes the top to be too high on the front pass side. It's not much, but you can see it.

Can't find anything in the manuals (have them all) about this. I'm a little hesitant to start taking things apart there without a clue. Has anyone been "in there" that may be able to give me a hint? I'm thinking maybe someting is bent, or too much glue, or whatever.

Are you talking about the vinyl covering, the interior molding or the exterior stainless molding?

I don't know what strip you mean.. Weatherstip or vinyl over the windshield. Maybe you could take a photo.

Walt, do you mean the front header bead that is round foam covered with the same fabric as the top?
If that is sitting back to far on the passangers side, it may cause it to sit higher.
Can you post a pict of it?
