Putting in a new windshield in my 66 2dr. hrdtop and have some questions. Can anyone help?
My questions are:The car was a stripped shell when I got it.No glass, mouldings clips, etc...I'm having a new windshield put in by a major glass supplier. Do they need the chrome at the same time they put the window in, or can I do this later? Also, if I can do it later, what's the correct way to install the clips and chrome? I've never had that experience before. Thanks for your help!!!

Take the stainless windshield molds along. When they install it have them install the trim. Once the sealer sets up, you could have a problem with installation and possibly crack the windshield. Also if they set the glass too low, you will possibly gave a gap between the glass and trim. Not good.
