I have seen the stripe kits in opgi for like 35 bucks, and i was thinking of having the paint redone on my car. I was wondering if anyone ever used one of these kits and how well it turned out. thanks

BB71 - Used the OPGI stencil kit on my 70 SS. Worked great! http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif Stencils are of the 2nd design (wider stripes).

I used the stecil kit from www.chevelle.com (http://www.chevelle.com) and saved a few bucks...
Worked great, except that the hood stencils were a bit too short for the 4" longer hood on my Monte http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

They work OK but there is one thing to be carefull with. The stencil comes in two parts. The front of the hood (and back of the deck lid) and 1/4 pin striping.Where they come together it has to be a tight fit, otherwise paint will get under the joint and it will be noticeable.
