I want to put stripes on a 69 chevelle for my own cumstom choice. Is there anyway of using the 70 stencil kit on a 69 body? How can I get stripes on a 69 chevelle?

Believe it or not, the 70 'style' band aid stripes were an option late in 69 on SS Chevelles. Probably less than 100 cars had them. One of the restoration books mentions this and shows a picture but I forget what they looked like for sure. I think the front edge went onto to header panel and had rounded off corners. Trunk was the same as a 70. You no doubt could use the 70 stencils as a guide, but you would need to modify for the front header panel, or make your own up there.

I have the band-aid stripes on my 69. Take a look:
