I just purchased a 69 SS and I have located all the parts to repair the rust except one, I need to know If a person can get a new panel for the area between the Windshield and around the wiper arms (Cowl Panel?) or do i need to find a good donor piece and if so does anyone have any? Next Question or Request I should say I am going to piant this car Glacier blue code 53 w/ a White Vinyl top and White interior I am needing some pictures of cars like this for me to compare to Expecially the Interior.

I have been wondering the same for my 69 camino, but I'm looking for the front cowl.

1partsguy what i ran into when trying to repair mine is that right now there is no replacement cowl panel made for chevelles yet. i had toget a donor and you got to be carefull because most of them look good until you get the chrome mldg off and so on.the panel or the bucket can be rusted at the seam on top on the inside of the car.at the end of 2006 you might be able to buy it . i seen where they make one for a camaro and found out who made it and called them.i asked them why a camaro and not a chevelle and they replied that they make the whole body for the camaro and at the end of 2006 they would start making a whole chevelle body.good luck and happy hunting .

I am dealing with the same problem on my 68 right now...The only way to fix is to make a custom piece or a donor car. I believe a 68 and 69 cowl to dash piece is the same so either a 68 or 69 donor would work, but good luck with that too...

I have a question in now concerning any differences between that piece on a 68 and 69. If fact I don't think there is much different with regards to the body between a 68 and 69 other than the marker lights on the quarter panels.

The qtrs are different between 68-69 because the bumpers are different, 68 has vent windows 69 don't. Just a couple differences
