Hi all. Hope someone can help me out. I need to find out how to wire up the blower motor switch and a/c switch in a 69 Chevelle. (1)What I have is dk. blue, a brown and tan wire together and an empty spot in one plug for the blower switch. What color wire goes in the empty spot and where on the switch does it go? Working left to right on the switch does it start with the dk. blue or brown/ tan. Does it go in the front row or back. (2) On the switch to activate the a/c I have drk. brown, green, lt. brown and an empty spot on the plug. Drk. brown wire and green wire are ok. Where does the lt. brown wire go and what color wire goes in the empty spot. (3) I have a lt. blue wire, yellow, and green that are just hanging there. I know they fit into all this. Nothing is cut, just unplugged from the plastic housings. Hope someone can make sense of all this for me.

1- The missing wire, middle wire, should be ltgreen. It goes to the diverter door switch then gray to the low temp switch (under the hood next to the speed resistor) and then dkgreen to the compressor clutch. The tan and gray together are the back or left row bottom, ltgreen middle and dkblue top.

2- The color sequence is tan (ltbrown), brown, ltgreen and empty slot. The empty slot stays empty.

3- The front or right row of the speed switch gets three wires bottom is yellow, next up is ltblue and top is tan. The tan wire comes from the A/C switch in 1. yellow and ltblue are to the speed resistor. Yellow is LOW speed ltblue is MED2. ( MED1 is the ltgreen and HIGH speed is the dkblue on the speed switch back row connector)

The plastic connectors on the speed switch are keyed so that they fit in only one location and one orientation.
