does any one know how big u can go on a 12 bolt, I just broke another stock axle in the chev. and looking in to some new ones? strange/moser says 33 but then u go to mark williams they say 35 spline. I need something that will hold the 8k plus clutch dumps.

The Mark Williams 35 spline is as large as you can go. The limiting factor is the carrier bearings. I have these axles & spool in my 12 bolt, holding up well so far.

well its a 13.1 355 with a crane 669 lift solid roller and a 1050 dominator this was the first weekend on the carb. but the funny thing was I was on a 325/50/15 mt dr, trans is a BG super t10 wit a v-gate shifter and a broken 12 bolt. with a 6.14 gear which is soon to come out. my dad used to run a real short track like 500 ft.

I'm using the original MW axles & spool...Masterline wasn't created at that point.

Back when I bought the axle stuff, the axles were $460 plus bearings $60, spool was $240, bearing kit like $120, billet weld on housing ends & retainer plates was like $140, drive studs another $90 or so. I had new Summer Brothers billet caps to replace both stock 12 bolt carrier caps and added the aluminum girdle cover.

My 69 with a 12 bolt has Strange 33 splines.
That is what is had when I got it.
If I recall correctly there is an ad that they are guaranteed for ten years.
I'd say your brave for using stock axles to begin with.
